Parks in this selection cater to a wide variety of preferences. The most commonly listed facility is dog friendliness, available at 185 parks, followed by nature walks at 146 and car parking by the holiday home at 142. Wi-Fi is offered at 130 parks.

Parks are grouped into three main areas: the Heart of England with 79 parks, Mid Wales Coastal with 61, and Mid Wales Inland with 86.

Individual locations span a wide stretch of the Midlands and Wales. Welshpool has the highest number of listings at 18, followed by Tywyn with 16. Aberystwyth and Borth each have eight, while Machynlleth has seven. Bridgnorth, Stourport on Severn, Llanidloes, Newtown, Montgomery and Harlech each have six. Bewdley and Evesham have five, and Leominster, Aberdovey, Dolgellau, Betws-y-Coed and Llansantffraid have four.

Several towns have three listings, including Ludlow, Lake Vyrnwy, Llangynog and Ashbourne. A further group has two, among them Llandovery, Rhayader, Penybontfawr, Llanfair Caereinion, Oswestry, New Quay, Dyffryn Ardudwy, Llandrindod Wells, Llanon and Welshpool-area villages.
