Clywedog Riverside Holiday Home Park

Nestled in its own wooded valley beside the River Clywedog, this family-run holiday home park has been established for more than three decades. It sits among mature trees and shrubs, roughly a fifteen-minute walk from the historic market town of Llanidloes in Mid Wales.

The park holds a five-star rating and places its emphasis firmly on peace and quiet. Families and friends are welcome to use owners’ caravans, but sub-letting is not permitted, a rule intended to maintain standards across the site.

Grounds and facilities

The grounds are kept to a high standard, with tarmac roads, lighting and parking areas close to each holiday home. Manicured flower beds, hedges and lawns add to the setting. On-site amenities include a small gym, a fully equipped dog wash, a laundrette and an information room stocked with walking maps and a large DVD and book library.

A well-lit tarmac footpath leads from the park to Llanidloes in about fifteen minutes on foot. The coastal towns of Aberdovey, Tywyn, Aberystwyth, Borth and Ynys-Las are all around a forty-minute drive away.

Directions

Take the A470 to Llanidloes, then follow the B4518 signposted for Machynlleth and Llyn Clywedog. The park is three-quarters of a mile along on the left-hand side.
